Almost missed it...

I was concentrating on capturing the trapped dew...cos I thought they looked like trapped diamonds [ of course my photography is not yet able to convey that ! ]. I didn't know there was someone watching me from a very close distance...it was on a leaf that I must have pushed back or crushed [oh !!] in my eagerness to snap the dew pix. Of course it's camouflage of leaf-green body made it blend with the leafy background. But it got my attention now! Oh it was soo sweet...even though it must have been terrified of this monster in front of it, with a shiny box for eyes...it still defended it's territory. He he...I'll go there again later and see how my funny green little pal is doing.
