You've got to get back...

I decided the Mantis had to go back on the rose branches...
It won't endanger the rose, as it only eats smaller insects.

I took some leaves and put it in front of the Mantis...
hoping it would climb up and hitch a ride...

After several tries and a change of bigger, sturdier leaves...
it crawled on board... me so relieved ! Bye Mr or Ms Mantis...
...enjoy the branch and the afternoon breeze ...

p.s. I just had a thought...all the above happened in front of the rose bushes....which was right across the security 'station' ...about 10 paces away..... there were several security officers on duty this afternoon. Oh ! I've made a fool of my self [again] .... sob sob...maybe if I explained things to them....

p.s.s. I suppose Bae Yong Joon never made a fool of himself when taking pictures...sob sob...

The rose guard may have thought you wanted to play a new game, or try a new dance ... but did the other guards notice?

Very wise to put the rose guard back into proper position. Roses need their protection.

That first branch looks split and sickly. Looks like it needs more pruning, as roses so often do.

Isn't Life full of wonders, both great and small? Has the lens of the camera helped the lens of your eye to sook at what it sees?

Hi Silver-Bronze Dragon,

Oh ! I'm so honored you made time to comment... with your busy schedule. I guess you couldn't resist the Praying mantis, Huh ? he he he.. it is cute, come to think of it...even though it's skeleton is outside it's body.
Yep the rose grew semi-wild as there's no gardener to take care of it..I think they just water it.

And yes...the camera lens has begun to focus and clarify my mind's eye....as well as my heart's eye to God's amazing nature.

Love to you both,
myoce

p.s. I'll post a 'Rose-Post' for you both, where you could see some beautifully tended roses [my neighbor's !! ].
